Dear LOCKING,
Glad to hear you got to England and hope the hand is now alright. DENNISON told me he had heard from you and he will no doubt give you all the news. I can give you some information regarding the crew.
Lieut ASKEW, Sgt ANDREWS, & LEVEY were reported missing, believed killed. CAMERON killed. KITCHING died at Etaples five days later. Young JENKINS turned up next morning and carried on until a few days later when he hurt his leg with an unditching beam and went to hospital. He is now at a convalescent camp and has applied to return to J.
If you wish to return to J, write to Capn J HENDERSON when you get to the depot in France telling him you wish to return. Also apply to the depot people, to send you back.
