Description and Travel

Kirkby is is a village, a township and a parish about 5 miles south of Horncastle. Roughton parish borders to the north, Haltham parish to the west, across the River Bain, and Tattershall Thorpe parish is to the south. The River Witham flows along the eastern border of the parish. The parish covers about 1,800 acres. Tumby Township is considered part of this parish.
