"COLD WESTON, a parish and township in the hundred of Lower Munslow, in the county of Salop, 6 miles N. of Ludlow, its post town. There is no village and the parish contains only 670 acres. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford, value £100, in the patronage of F. H. Cornewall, Esq. The church is an ancient stone structure."
