BREDFIELD

"BREDFIELD, a parish in the hundred of Wilford, in the county of Suffolk, 2 miles to the N. of Woodbridge, its post town. The East Suffolk railway runs near it. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Norwich, of the value of £249, in the patronage of the lord chancellor. The church, which contains a monumental brass of the year 1611, is dedicated to St. Andrew. The parochial charities produce about £8 a year. The principal seat is Bredfield Hall."
