Description and Travel

The story of Maud Heath (part of Your Guide to North Wiltshire) describes the causeway from Wick Hill through East Tytherton, Kellaways and Langley Burrel to Chippenham. In 1474 the widow Maud Heath gave land and money to build and maintain the causeway, to give a dry pathway for people to walk to market.
