"BERROW, a parish in the lower division of the hundred of Oswaldslow, in the county of Worcester, 7 miles S.E. of Ledbury, its post town, and 8 miles to the S.W. of Upton. It lies in a detached part of the hundred. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Worcester, of the value of £100, in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Worcester. The church, dedicated to St. Faith, has a square tower, and was completely restored in 1858. There is a National school. The parochial charities amount to £13 per annum. In Berry Court, which is now a farm-house, there are some fine specimens of woodcarving. The village is a meet for the Ledbury hounds."
