- A mechanism to do some checking of mailto: links has been devised, by checking
the hostname part of the address. If no MX or A records are found, this shows that the
host does not exist and mail will thus fail.
- A colour coding scheme is used to indicate the length of time errors have been reported, but not fixed. After 3 months (90 days) the
background becomes amber, and after 6 months (180 days) it becomes red.
