In 1847 George Lipscomb in his "The History and Antiquities of the County of Buckingham" listed the following Abbots for Lavendon Abbey:

1254 and 1271 Jordan
1312 John de Lathbury
1478 and 188 Robert Helmedon
1491 William Curleu. He governed until 1500; and in his time, the following account was taken of the names of the religious.
