"BRIGHT WALTHAM, (or Brightwalton, or Brickleton), a parish in the hundred of Faircross, in the county of Berks, 3 miles to the W. of East Ilsley. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Oxford, of the value of £700, in the patronage of J. R. Harman, Esq.
