  • Antrobus was a township in Great Budworth ancient parish, Bucklow hundred (SJ 6580), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • It includes the hamlets of Arley, Grandires Green, and Pole Lane Ends.
  • The population was 351 in 1801, 489 in 1851, 373 in 1901, 726 in 1951, and 832 in 2001.
