- Golborne Bellow was a township in Tattenhall ancient parish, Broxton hundred (SJ 4559), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It included the hamlet of Brockholes (part).
- The population was 81 in 1801, 105 in 1851, 68 in 1901, 102 in 1951, and 89 in 2001.
- In 2015 the civil parish was abolished and incorporated into Tattenhall & District.
