  • Tilstone Fearnall was a township in Bunbury ancient parish, Eddisbury hundred (SJ 5660), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • It included the hamlets of Stages Platt and Tilstone Bank.
  • The population was 130 in 1801, 155 in 1851, 184 in 1901, 146 in 1951, and 99 in 2001.
  • In 2015 the civil parish was abolished and incorporated into Tiverton & Tilstone Fearnall and Rushton.
