  • Weston was a township in Wybunbury ancient parish, Nantwich hundred (SJ 7352), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • It includes the hamlets of Carters Green, Englesea Brook (part), Gorsthill, Rose Hill, Snape and Stowford.
  • The population was 348 in 1801, 514 in 1851, 474 in 1901, 544 in 1951, and 969 in 2001.
