- Bridgemere was a township in Wybunbury ancient parish, Nantwich hundred (SJ 7144), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It includes the hamlets of Admiral's Gorse, Parrah Green, Prince Hill, Seven Stars and Wheel Green.
- The population was 230 in 1801, 220 in 1851, 149 in 1901, 141 in 1951, and 133 in 2001.
