LITTLETON

  • Littleton was a township in Christleton ancient parish, Broxton hundred (SJ 4466), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • Until 2015 it included the hamlet of Vicar's Cross (part).
  • The population was 24 in 1801, 45 in 1851, 151 in 1901, 428 in 1951, and 644 in 2001.
