"LOSTOCK-GRALAM, a township in that part of the parish of GREAT-BUDWORTH which is in the hundred of NORTHWICH, county palatine of CHESTER, 2½ miles (E.) from Northwich, containing 525 inhabitants.   • Lostock Gralam was a township in Witton Chapelry of Great Budworth ancient parish, Bucklow hundred (SJ 6974), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • Until 2015 it included the hamlet of Lostock Green.
  • The population was 361 in 1801, 519 in 1851, 1640 in 1901, 1522 in 1951, and 2317 in 2001.
