In the Name of God Amen I Robert Knight of the Parish of Ashreigney in the County of Devon Yeoman being sick and weak but of sound mind and memory thanks be to the Almighty God for the same Do ordain and make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first and principally I recommend my Soul into the hands of the Almighty God my Creator and Jesus Christ my Redeemer hoping to receive free Pardon for my Sins and my Body to Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named. Also I Give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Cole Wife of Samuel Cole the Sum of Five Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executrix at the End of one year after my decease Also I Give and Bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Hill Wife of William Hill the Sum of Five Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid by my Executrix at the End of one Year after my decease Also I Give and bequeath unto my Grandson and Grand Daughter John and Sarah Cole Son and Daughter of my Daughter Ann Cole deceased the Sum of Five Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain to be equally divided between them /that is to say/ 2..10 a Piece to be paid by my Executrix at the End of one Year After my decease Also all the rest of my Goods Chattels Credits Leasehold profits and Incomes whatsoever I Give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Ann Knight whom I ordain and make my whole and Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament to her use and to her use only and benefit without any Interruptions hindrances or denial of any person or persons whatsoever during her Life and after her death I Also give and bequeath the aforesaid Goods and Chattels that she hath at her death unto my two sons Robert and John Knight to be equally divided between both and to their Sole use and benefit And I do herby declare this to be my last Will and Testament Revoking and making void all former Will or Wills by me made
In Witness whereof I have here unto Set my Hand and Seal this Seventeenth day of March One Thousand eight hundred and twelve Signed Sealed Published and declared by this Testator in the presence of us who have Set our names as Witness hereto
