Will of John Yolland, Labourer, of Berry Pomeroy

This is the last Will and Testament by me John Yolland being of sound mind memory and understanding of Bridgetown in the Parish of Berry Pomeroy in the County of Devon Labourer in the first place I revoke and make void all former will and wills heretofore made by me in the first place I hereby revoke and make void all former Will and Wills made by me and do constitute and appoint this to be my last Will and Testament in the second place I give and bequeath unto Mary Yolland my son John's wife now residing at Brixham the Sum of One hundred Pounds the same to be paid at the expiration of Six Calendar Months after my decease or should she the said Mary Yolland die prior to the time of the Legacies being paid I request the same to be paid unto her Children by share and share alike in the third place I give devise and bequeath unto my Son James now residing at Bristol Carpenter the Sum of one hundred pounds to be paid him at the expiration of Six Calendar Months after my decease but should the said John Yolland die prior to the Legacies being paid I request the same may be paid unto his Children share and share alike Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca Bolder the Wife of John Bolder now residing at Brixham the sum of One hundred and ffifty pounds the same to be paid her at the same time as before mentioned and should she the said Rebecca die prior to the Legacies being paid it is my wish and desire that the same should be paid to her Children and Also I give devise and bequeath unto my Daughter Charlotte Yolland now residing at Bridgetown aforesaid the sum of Two hundred and ffifty Pounds the same to be received by her at the expiration of Six Calendar Months after my decease as aforesaid the whole of the aforesaid Legacies to be paid by my Daughter Charlotte Yolland whom I Nominate and Appoint to be my Executrix to manage and arrange the matters herein contained the Sum of Six hundred pounds in the Naval Stocks which will be paid by or through the Totnes Bank after being demanded by the said Charlotte Yolland and to be paid by her in the manner as before stated and Lastly it is my wish and request that my ffuneral Expences and all and every other Expence attending the same or any other thing (that is to say)whatsoever expence may be occasioned by taking up the Letters of Administration the same shall be paid by ..... my aforesaid 4 Children out of the Legacies as before and also whatever Household Goods and ffurniture wearing apparel and the watch and all and every other thing Viz Linen woollen China Glass I give devise and bequeath unto my Daughter Charlotte Yolland for his own use and benefit In witness whereof I have to this last sheet put my hand and seal and to the first sheet hereof my hand in the presence of two witnesses whose names are hereunder written July twenty ninth One thousand Eight hundred and twenty five John Yolland _ Witness John Johns _ Wm Ellis
