In the Name of God Amen I William Kenney of Bideford in the County of Devon being in Perfect Health Mind and Memory Thanks be to Almighty God Yet reflecting on the Uncertainty of this Life and the Certainty of Death for the future Peace and to Prevent Disputes after my Departure hence do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)ffirst I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Thomas Hewish Son of my Brother in Law Richard Hewish of Barnstable all my Wearing Apparel both Linnen and Woollen that I shall leave behind me at my Death which I desire may be delivered to him by my Executrix hereinafter named within one Year next after my Decease Also I Give and bequeath unto my Niece Sarah Hewish Daughter of my said Brother Richard Hewish the Sum of ten Pounds and to my Brother Thomas Kenney Merchant the Sum of five Pounds which said Legacys I hereby desire and direct my Executrix hereinafter named to Pay unto my said Niece Sarah Hewish and my Brother Thomas Kenney within one Year next after my Decease All the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels real and Personal Estate of what Nature Kind or Degree soever not herein before given and bequeathed I hereby give and bequeath the same unto my loving Wife Mary Kenney her Executors Administrators and Assigns and I do hereby make and ordain her whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills by me made In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the twenty seventh Day of ffebruary in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty five Wm Kenney
