In the Name of God Amen I John Charles Grant of Brixham in the County of Devon Gentleman being in health of Body & of sound mind memory & understanding God be praised for the same do make this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following I give & bequeath unto my Brother George Reeve Grant of the Island of Antigua Shipbuilder all my wearing apparel of whatsoever nature or kindsoever Also the Sum of Twenty Pounds to be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named within six months after my decease All the rest residue & remainder of my Money Securities for Money Goods Chattels & effects of what nature or kindsoever I give devise & bequeath unto my Mother Ann Grant of Brixham aforesaid Widow to hold unto the same unto my said Mother her Executors & Admors and I hereby Nominate Constitute & Appoint my said Mother my sole Executrix of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all former Will or Wills at any time heretofore by me made & do declare this to be my last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I the said John Charles Grant have hereunto set my hand & Seal this ffourteenth day of January in the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred & Eight John Charles Grant
