NYMETT (BROAD), a parish in the hundred of NORTH TAWTON with WINKLEY, county of DEVON, 1 mile (W. S. W.) from Bow. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Barnstaple, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £2. 4. 2., and in the patronage of Sir T. B. Lethbridge, Bart. This parish is very small, containing only fifty acres.
