BRUSHFORD, a parish in the hundred of NORTH TAWTON with WINKLEY, county of DEVON, 5¼ miles (S. by W.) from Chulmleigh, containing 134 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Barnstaple, and diocese of Exeter, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £1000 royal bounty, and ia the patronage of the Rev. J. Luxton.
