BUCKERELL

"BUCKERELL, a parish in the hundred of Hemyock, in the county of Devon, 3 miles to the W. of Honiton, its post town. It is situated near the river Otter and the Yeovil and Exeter section of the London and South-Western railway. The living is a vicarage* in the diocese of Exeter, value £120, in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Exeter. The church, which contains a screen and several monuments, is dedicated to St. Mary. The principal residence is Buckerell House."
