The British and Irish Archaeological Bibliography lists 23 articles and two monographs by Rev Oswald J Reichel, BCL, MA, FSA, (1840-1923), the majority being papers on Devonshire historical records and matters of ecclesiastical interest delivered at annual meetings of the Devonshire Association. He is perhaps best remembered for his Complete Manuel of Canon Law. Reichel resided from 1886 until his death at La Ronde, now a celebrated National Trust property at Lympstone near Exmouth. Google with the Archive Organization has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. The Internet Archive makes available, in its Community Texts Collection (originally known as Open Source Books), books that have been digitised by Google from a number of libraries. These are books on which copyright has expired, and are available free for educational and research use.
