Jane Skinner of Combinteignhead in the County of Devon Widow and William Skinner of the same place Yeoman.

Executors named in the last Will and Testament of John Skinner late of Combeinteignhead aforementioned Yeoman who died on the thirteenth day of February 1816 severally make oath and say that they have made diligent search and due enquiry after and in respect of the Personal Estate and Effects of the said deceased, in order to ascertain the full amount and value thereof; and that to the best of their knowledge, information and belief, the whole of the Goods, Chattels and Credits, of which the said Deceased died, possessed within the diocese of Exeter (exclusive of what the Deceased may have been possessed of, or intitled to as a Trustee for any other person or persons, and not beneficially, but including the Leasehold Estates for years of the deceased, whether absolute or determinable lives, and without deducting any thing on account of the Debts due and owing from the deceased), are under the value of Five hundred pounds and these deponents further say that the said deceased had personal estate and effects at the time of his decease within the Province to which these deponent need to administer.

The last will and testament of one John Skinner. In the name of God Amen. I John Skinner of the Parish of Combinteignhead in the County of Devon Yeoman being poorly in health but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, Blessed be God, do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner? And found? Following that is to say In the first place I recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body to be buried with decent Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executors herinafter (named) and as touching such worldy effects as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I dispose thereof in the following manner that is to say
I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Jane Skinner and my son William Skinner the whole of my effects of what nature or kind soever that I may have by me at the time of my death or that shall be due to me on any account whatsoever, out of which I order my said wife and son to pay off all my just debts and funeral expenses and I so hereby appoint my said wife Jane Skinner and my son William Skinner to be the sole executors of this my last will and testament and I do hereby utterly disallow ...[?] and disannul all and every other former Wills and Testaments, [?] bequeaths and Executors by one in any wise before named ...[?] and bequeathed Ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the tenth day of February in the fifty fifth year of the reign of our Sovereign King[?] George the Third by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King defender of the faith and in the year of our Lord Christ One thousand eight hundred and sixteen.

Sealed published and declared by the said John Skinner as and for his last will and testament in the ... us who in his presence and in the presence of ... have at his request set and subscribed our names ...
