For unlawfully breaking open the door belonging to the stable of John Aynell at Chagford and for takeing rescueing and leading away two Piggs which the said John Aynell had taken distrained and Impounded for John Brimblecome damage feazant.
John PageBeing a man disposed to trespass and Injure his neighbours and haveing no Lands in Chagford for the depasturing and keeping of piggs and other beasts and cattle on the 20th October in the 12th year of the King and at divers days and turns as well before as after at Chagford aforesaid did suffer two piggs unyoked and unringed unlawfully to go and stray about the Highways for want of meat and provision and so from the Highways did get into the ground of John Aynell and other of the Kings Subjects.

John ColchardFor breaking and entering the Closes of James Fortescue called the lower four acres, the Higher four acres and the Lane close and for takeing nine Cows of the said James Fortescue despasturing in the lower four acres and unlawfully leading them from thence and for chaseing and driving them into the Higher four acres and for breaking the Hedge and fence between the Higher four acres and the Lane Close and for takeing and driveing the said cows out of the Higher four acres into the Lane Close and for breaking the Hedge and fence between the Higher four acres and the Lane Close and for takeing and driveing the said cows out of the Higher four acres into the Lane Close and impounding them by the space of Eight hours.
