Devon to Wit. A Calendar of the Prisoners in his Majestys High Gaol for the County of Devon at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace held at the Castle of Exeter April 21st, 1784.

John Casey alias James HeysCommitted Jan 14th 1784 for not appearing to an Indictment last Christmas Sessions for Assault, but stood out in contempt of the Court. [comment: Tryed].
Charles AshmanCommitted Jan 27th by Ralph Michell esq charged on Oath of fanny Michell with feloniously stealing & carrying away one Childs Coat one Waistcoat 7 one pair of Breeches property of said Fanny Michell. [comment: Tryed].
