Robert Farrant of the parish of saint Thomas in the City of Salisbury in the County of Wiltshire, Chemist & Druggist


In the name of God Amen. I Mark Farrant the Elder of Cullompton in the County of Devon Gentleman do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say

I give devise and bequeath all my personal and testamentary estate of what nature or kind soever and all my monies goods chattels and effects that I may die possessed of subject and chargeable nevertheless to and with my just debts funeral expenses and expenses of proving this my Will (save and except such principal sum and sums of money all interest due thereon as shall be due and owing to any person or persons whomsoever and secured on my estate called Growen in Cullompton aforesaid and all other such sum and sums of money as I am already become answerable for now or hereafter for either of my sons Mark and Robert Farrant ) unto my said two sons Mark and Robert and my daughter Elizabeth share and share alike 

And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my two sons Mark and Robert and my daughter Elizabeth joint executors and executrix of this my said Will hereby revoking and making void all former Wills and Will by me at any time heretofore made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the tenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty two

Signed sealed and published by the said Mark Farrant the elder the Testator as and for his last Will and testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto at his request and his presence and in the presence of each other
