In the Name of God Amen I John Barnard of the Parish of Dawlish being weak of body but of sound and Perfect mind and memory Praised be God for it do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner ffollowing ffirst and Principally I Commend my Soul into the hands of Allmighty God who gave it me and my body to the Earth from whence it came in hopes of a Joyfull Resurrection through the merits Death and Passion of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Chrst and as for all such worldly goods as it hath pleased God to bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as ffolloweth ffirst I order all my debts and Legacies to be paid in twelve months after my Decease and my body to be decently buryed by my Executrix hereafter mentioned Item I give to my ffather Thomas Barnard five guineas which is five pounds and five shillings Item I give unto my Brother Robert Barnard five pounds I give unto my Sister Sarah Darby Wife of Thomas Darby two pounds as for all the rest of my goods Chattels money and Estate and all and whatsoever to me belongeth Except what Legacies I have before given unto my Loving Wife Sarah Barnard and do make her full and whole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke all former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made holding this my last Will and Testament to be firm and good In Wittness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the twenty third day of September in the first Year of Reign of our Soveraigne Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith Annoq Domini 1728 John Barnard
