Will of Richard Lascelles, Fuller of Holy Trinity Exeter (1795)

In the Name of God Amen I Richard Lascelles of the Parish of the Holy Trinity in the County of the City of Exeter ffuller do make and ordain this Writing to be my last Will and Testament I desire to be buried in a decent Christian manner at the discretion of my Executors and Executrix hereinafter named And my Worldly Estate Substance and Effects I give bequeath and dispose as follows that is to say ffirst I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Edward Lascelles my Gold Watch Also I give and bequeath unto my Granddaughter Elizabeth Hallett my Silver Tankard Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah the Wife of George Cross Butcher One Guinea Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the Wife of John Blanchard the younger ffuller One Guinea and which said Legacies I direct shall be paid and delivered in One Calendar Month next after my death Also I give and bequeath unto my son Richard Lascelles my Packing Press and all my Working Tools and Utensils in Trade All the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever after payment of all my just debts Legacies and ffuneral Expences I give and bequeath unto my Sons Richard Lascelles the younger and Edward Lascelles and my daughter Elizabeth the Wife of Robert Hallett the Younger Baker equally to be divided and parted between them share and share alike And I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint my said Sons Richard and Edward Lascelles And my said Daughter Elizabeth Hallett Executors and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills be me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said Richard Lascelles the Testator have hereunto set my hand and Seal this fifteenth day of ffebruary in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety Richd Lascells
