This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Every the younger of the City of Exeter Attorney at Law made this sixteenth day of December One thousand Eight hundred and thirty seven and written with my own had I desire that my brother & Executor hereinafter named will permit my body to be opened if it will afford any satisfaction or Information as to the nature or Extent of my disease and the cause of my death I wish to be buried in as plain a manner as possible and I expressly prohibit the use of Plumes and Hatbands on the Occasion I bequeath to my brother Charles my Gold Watch with the key attached thereto to be delivered to him at such age as my Executor shall think proper All my monies securities for money and all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and whether in possession or expectancy I give unto my brother ffrederick Every whom I hereby appoint sole Executor of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above mentioned _ Richd Every
