In the Name of God Amen I George Bussell of the parish of St Sydwells in the County of the City of Exon Searge Weaver being weake of body but of sound and perfect memory (blessed be God) doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) Imprimis I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing through the meritorious death and passion of my Lord and blessed Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full pardon for all my Sinnes And my body to Christian buriall according to the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named Item I give to my Son George and to my Son John ten pounds to each to be paid unto them within one yeare next after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my Son James Bussell a .... of Gold Item I give unto my three Daughters Judeth Mary and Hester a .....of Gold to each of them Item I give and bequeath unto my Sonnes Nathaniel and Philip Bussell ffifty pounds to each of them to be paid them within three moneths after they attaine the age of one and Twenty yeares Item I give and bequeath unto my Sonnes Thomas Bussell and Robert Bussell and to each of them Twenty pounds to each to be allsoe paid to them within three months next after they shall attaine the Age of one and Twenty yeares Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Margarett Trehann my Toadstone Ringe Item I give and bequeath to each of my Grandchildren which shall be livinge at the time of my Death fforty shillings apiece to be paid unto them respectively within three months next after my Decease All the rest of my goods and Chattells not herein and hereby given my Just Debts and ffuneral expences beinge first paid I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved Wife Hester Bussell whom I make whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will Disannulling and making Void all other and former wills by me formerly made In witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this Seaventh Day of October Anno Domini One Thousand Six Hundred Eighty and Nine 1689 the marke of George Bussell
