Twenty-Sixth Report (Third Series) of the
Committee on the Climate of Devon

Trans. Devon Assoc., 1908, Vol XL, tables, pp. 86-101.

by

R. Hansford Worth , Hon. Secretary.

Prepared by Michael Steer

The Report was presented at the Association’s 28th July 1908 Newton Abbot meeting. It consists of meteorological  observations related to Rainfall, Temperature, Humidity, Cloud, and Sunshine taken throughout Devon during 1907. The Committee reported with sorrow the death of Mr. P.F.S. Amery, for 40 years its Honorary Secretary and a weather station Observer. Two stations, Okehampton and Totnes (Northgate) appear for the first time. The majority of Observer and Station names in this year’s report have been omitted due to errors in photocopying the original document. The Report, from a copy of a rare journal can be downloaded from the Internet Archive. Google has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. These books, on which copyright has expired, are available for free educational and research use, both as individual books and as full collections to aid researchers.
