Notes on some errors relating to North Devon.

Trans. Devon Assoc., vol. 11 (1879), pp. 352-357.

by

Townshend M. Hall

Prepared by Michael Steer

The paper, presented at the Association's July 1879 Ilfracombe meeting is an attempt at correcting some of the factual errors that have appeared in previous issues of the Transactions, as those errors relate to North Devon. The idea for the topic derived from Mr Pengelly's 'Notes on Slips connected with Devonshire' series, Part III of which appears in the 1879 issue. Google with the Archive Organization has sponsored the digitisation of books from several libraries. The Internet Archive makes available, in its Community Texts Collection (originally known as Open Source Books), books that have been digitised by Google from a number of libraries. These are books on which copyright has expired, and are available free for educational and research use. This rare book was produced from a copy held by the University of Michigan Library, and is available from the Internet Archive.
