Ilsington: Accident in 1639

The Note relates to an accident in 1639 at Ilsington when the tiny schoolhouse collapsed. The names of the 17 students involved are listed together with the schoolmaster. A complete account from that time with a photograph of the old school house appears on the Devon Heritage website.
