This is the son of Robert Southcombe the elder [of Mariansleigh]. He died without issue

Will dated 6 July 1685. pr. Exeter C.C. 15 July 1685

Mentions Johan "my now wife"; brother Anthony & his son Robert; Elizabeth d. of "my brother John".
Elizabeth, John and Robert, children of John Tossell of Kings Nympton, "my brother-in-law".

Residuary Legatee and Sole Exec. Wife Johan.

Inventory dated 14 July 1685. £282..13..0.

One surety was Lewis Southcomb, Rector of Rose Ash.
