In the Goods of Thomazin Kelland deceased
Appeared Personally Richard Challice of the parish of Lapford in the County of Devon Yeoman
The sole EXECUTOR named in the last Will and Testament of Thomazin Kelland late of the parish of Lapford aforesaid Widow
deceased and made oath that the said deceased died on the ninth day of February 1848; that he hath made diligent search and due enquiry after, and in respect of the Personal Estate and Effects of the said Deceased, in order to ascertain the full Amount and Value thereof; and that to the best of his knowledge, information, and belief, the whole of the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of which the said Deceased died possessed within the DIOCESE OF EXETER , exclusive of what the Deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as a Trustee for any other Person or Persons, and not beneficially, (A) but including the LEASEHOLD ESTATE OR ESTATES for Years of the Deceased, as well absolute as determinable on Lives, and without deducting any thing on account of the Debts due and owing from the Deceased, are under the Value of Three Hundred Pounds, to the best of this Deponents knowledge, information, and belief.
(B) AND the Deponent lastly made Oath, that the said Deceased was not possessed of or entitled to any LEASEHOLD ESTATE or ESTATES for Years either absolute or determinable on a Life or Lives, to the best of his knowledge, information, and belief.

In the name of God Amen, I Thomazin Kelland of Lapford in the county of Devon widow do publish and declare this present writing to be and contain my last Will and Testament in manner and form following, That is to say, First I hereby give unto my Daughter in Law Elizabeth Woolacott of Crediton the sum of Ten Pounds, Also I give unto my Nephew Thomas Richards the sum of five Pounds, Also I give unto my Niece Ann Challice Daughter of my late Sister Elizabeth Richards the sum of Five Pounds, Also I give unto my niece Harriet May the sum of Five Pounds . Also I give unto George Challice son of my late Nephew Robert Challice the sum of Five Pounds ... Also I give unto Ann Challice Daughter of my late Nephew Robert Challice the sum of Five Pounds.
And I hereby will order and direct that the above mentioned legacies shall be paid the several Legatees within six months next after my Decease by my Executor hereinafter named All the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels and Effects of what nature or kind soever after payment of my just Debts, Legacies and Funeral Charges I do hereby give and bequeath the same unto Richard Challice, Son of my late Nephew Robert Challice to his use absolutely, And I hereby nominate and appoint the said Richard Challice to be whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. In writing thereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the twenty sixth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty seven.
