Will of the Reverend Thomas Freke

I Thomas Freke of Loddeswell in the County of Devon do make this my last Will & Testament as follows I give and devise unto my dear Wife Betty Freke all that my Advowson and right of Patronage in or to the Vicarage of Loddeswell aforesaid with its rights members and appurtenances To hold the same unto my said Wife her heirs and Assigns subject nevertheless to the charge or mortgage of ffive thousand Pounds and interest thereon to Mrs Gunston Also I give and devise unto my said Wife all and singular my Great Tithes of the Parish of Loddeswell aforesaid with their and every of their rights members and appurtenances To hold the same unto my said Wife her heirs and Assigns for ever Also I give and bequeath unto my dear Sister Elizabeth Mortimer the sum of Two hundred Pounds of lawful British money which I hereby direct to be payable and Paid to her by my Executrix hereinafter named within twelve calendar months next after my decease Also I devise and bequeath to each of my servants living with me at the time of my death and also to Henry Moore if in my employ the sum of ten pounds apiece to be payable and paid to them respectively within one month next after my decease All the Rest and Residue of my property Goods Chattels Personal and Testamentary Estate of what nature or kind soever I give devise and bequeath unto my said Wife her heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns And I do hereby nominate and appoint whole and sole Executrix and Residuary Legatee of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made & declaring this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the fifth day of June One Thousand eight hundred and Thirty four Thomas Freke
