The living is adischarged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Totness, anddiocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £5. 6. 8.,endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the patronageof J. Venner and J. Spettigue, Esqrs. The church isdedicated to St. James.
