MARIANSLEIGH, a parish in the hundred of WITHERIDGE, county of DEVON, 3½ miles (S. E.) from South Molton, containing 289 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the archdeaconry of Barnstaple, and diocese of Exeter, endowed with £200 royal bounty, and in the patronage of the Mayor and Corporation of Exeter. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
