This Robert Southcombe is the grandson of the "trustie and wellbeloved in Christ Robert Sowthcombe my brother" named as executor in George Southcombe's will above. He is the son of Humfry Sowthcombe who witnessed that will.

Will dated 4 June 1671. pr. Barum 31 Oct 1672.

Mentions son John (& his daughter Elizabeth); son Anthony (& his son Robert); son Robert; and daughter Elizabeth.

Residuary Legatee & Sole Exec. his wife Elizabeth.

Inventory, dated 7 Oct 1672 by George Conybear, John Southcombe, and Anthony Southcombe. £503..4..4

One of the sureties when Adm. was granted was Lewis Southcomb Rector of Rose Ash.
