MILTON-DAMERELL, a parish in the hundred of BLACK-TORRINGTON, county of DEVON, 5 ½miles (N.E. by N.) from Holsworthy, containing 661 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, with the perpetual curacy of Cookbury, in the archdeaconry of Totness, and diocese of Exeter, rated in the king's books at £26. 13. 6½. Lord Viscount Courtenay was patron in 1799. The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
