The under-mentioned Persons claiming the Benefit of the Act lately passed for the Relief of Insolvent Debtors, the following Notices have been brought to the Printer of the London Gazette, to be inserted in this Paper, and are herein inserted in Obedience to the said Act.

London Gazette - Issue 8945 published on the 14 April 1750

The following Person being a Fugitive for Debt and beyond the Seas on or before the first Day of January 1747, and having surrendred himself to the Keeper of the Sheriff's Ward or Prison of and for the County of Devon, hereby gives Notice, that he intends to take the Benefit of the late Act of Parliament made in the Twenty first Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second, intituled, An Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors, at the next General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held in and for the said County of Devon, which shall happen next after thirty Days from the Publication hereof, viz.
John Rogers, late of Tiverton, Serge-maker.

The following Person being a Fugitive for Debt and beyond the Seas on or before the first Day of January 1747, and having surrendred himself to the Keeper of the Sheriff's Ward or Prison of and for the County of Devon, hereby gives Notice, that he intends to take the Benefit of the late Act of Parliament made in the Twenty-first Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second, intitled, An Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors, at the next General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held in and for the said County of Devon, which shall happen next after thirty Days from the Publication hereof, viz.
John Saunders, late of the City of Exeter, Dealer and Chapman.

The following Person being a Fugitive for Debt, and beyond the Seas on or before the First of January 1747, and having surrendred himself to the Keeper of the Sheriff's Ward or Prison of and for the County of Devon, hereby gives Notice, that he intends to take the Benefit of the late Act of Parliament made in the Twenty-first Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second, intituled, An Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors, at the next General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held in and for the said County, which shall happen next after Thirty Days from the Publication hereof, viz.
Richard Farleigh, late of South Brent in the County of Devon, Victualler.

The following Person being a Fugitive for Debt, and beyond the Seas on or before the first of January 1747, and having surrendered himself to the Keeper of the Poultry Compter, London, hereby gives Notice, that he intends to take the Benefit of the late Act of Parliament made in the Twenty-first Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second, intitled, An Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors, at the next General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held for the City of London, which shall happen next after thirty Days from the Publication hereof, viz.
Thomas Cross, late of Cogington in the County of Devon, Husbandman.

The following Persons being Fugitives for Debt, and beyond the Seas on or before the first of January 1747, and having surrendred themselves to the Keeper of the Marshal of the King's Bench Prison in the County of Surry, hereby give Notice, that they intend to take the Benefit of the late Act of Parliament made in the Twenty-first Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second, intitled, An Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors, at the next General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held for the County of Surry, which shall happen next after thirty Days from the Publication hereof, viz.
Richard Jackett, late of Plymouth in the County of Devon, Mariner. George Dare, late of the Parish of Shute in the County of Devon, Farmer. George Palmer, late of the Parish of Bideford in the County of Devon, Cutler and Chapman.

The following Person being a Fugitive for Debt, and beyond the Seas on or before the first of January 1747, and having surrendred himself to the Keeper of the Sheriff's Ward or Prison of and for the County of Devon, hereby gives Notice, that he intends to take the Benefit of the late Act of Parliament made in the Twenty first Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second, intituled, An Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors, at the next General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held in and for the said County, which shall happen next after Thirty Days from the Publication hereof, viz.
Jonas Rowley, late of the Dock near Plymouth in the County of Devon, Mariner.

The following Persons being Fugitives for Debt and beyond the Seas on or before the first of January 1747, and having surrendred themselves to the Warden of the Prison of the Fleet, London, hereby give Notice, that they intend to take the Benefit of the late Act of Parliament made in the Twenty-first Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second, intitled, An Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors, at the next General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held at Guildhall in and for the City of London, which shall happen next after Thirty Days from the Publication hereof, viz.
Richard Taylor, late of Collumpton in the County of Devon, Mariner. George Fendall, late of Topsham in the County of Devon, Mariner.

The following Person being a Fugitive for Debt, and beyond the Seas on or before the first of January 1747, and having surrendred himself to the Keeper of his Majesty's Goal at Plymouth in the County of Devon, hereby gives Notice, that he intends to take the Benefit of the late Act of Parliament made in the Twenty first Year of the Reign of his present Majesty King George the Second, intitled An Act for Relief of Insolvent Debtors, at the next General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be held for the said County, which shall happen next after thirty Days from the Publication hereof, viz.
Thomas Finks, late of Plymouth in the County of Devon, Mariner.
