Will of Charles Murray, Captain of Royal Invalids on the Retired List of Plympton

This is the last Will and Testament of me Charles Murray Captain of Royal Invalids on the Retired List now residing at Plympton in the County of Devon Firstly I give and devise all that my messuage or dwelling house in which I now live together with the back garden and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto my dear Wife Elizabeth Murray her heirs and assigns for ever I give unto each of my Children George Murray Charles Murray James Murray & Amelia Charlotte Murray the sum of five hundred pounds five per cent annuities the same to be a vested interest in them respectively from the time of my decease but not to be payable or paid until one month after the death of my said wife and not to bear interest in the mean time All the rest residue and remainder of my lands tenements goods chattels real and personal estate and testamentary effects whatsoever and wheresoever which I shall die possessed subject to the payment of the above mentioned legacies in manner as aforesaid I give devise and bequeath unto my said dear wife Elizabeth Murray her heirs exors administrators and assigns and I make and appoint my said wife sole Exrix of this my last Will and Testament to which I have subscribed my name and affixed my seal this thirty first day of January One thousand eight hundred and nineteen Chas Murray
