Inquisition taken at Exeter, 19 Oct. 10 Hen.VII [1494], before John Takyll, escheator, after the death of Joan Keynes, by the oath of Richard Pomerey, Knt., William Fortescu, Robert Pomerey, John Vautard, John Speccot, esquires, William Wyllford, John Gove, John Boudon, John Lotyn, Richard Leuermore, Richard Wode & Thomas Seman:- who say that John Keynes was seised of the manor of Wynkelegh Keynes, &c.1

Joan Keynes died 20 March last past [1493/4]2.

John, son & heir, then aged 21.
