REVELSTOKE, a parish in the hundred of PLYMPTON, county of DEVON, 7½ miles (S. by E.) from Earl's Plympton, containing 484 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Yealmpton, in the archdeaconry of Totness, and diocese of Exeter. The parish is bounded on the south by the English channel, and on the north and west by the river Yealm.
