Will of Francis Squire of Roborough, 1907

This is the Last Will and Testament
of me FRANCIS SQUIRE late of Wansley in the Parish of Roborough in the County of Devon. I give devise and bequeath To "Mary" the wife of John Gill Farmer living in Hornchurch Essex the sum of fifty pounds Also to "Elizabeth" wife of Michael Squire Manure Merchant Barnstaple the like sum of fifty pounds the aforesaid two legatees being the daughters of my sister Margaret Also to "Eliza Joce" the wife of Robert Joce Farmer living in the Parish of Tawstock I give the like sum of fifty pounds the aforesaid Eliza Joce being the daughter of my sister Grace Also to "Eliza Tucker" the daughter of my sister Mary I give the like sum of fifty pounds Also to "William Squire" the grandson of my brother John I give the like sum of of fifty pounds Also to "William Scott Bishop" late Schoolmaster of Roborough I give the like sum of fifty pounds Also to "Frances Squire" eldest daughter of Francis Squire of Rumsam House Rumsam Barnstaple Devon I give the like sum of fifty pounds Also "John George Squire" eldest son of the aforesaid Francis Squire I give the like sum of fifty pounds Also Elsie Elizabeth Squire second daughter of the aforesaid Francis Squire of Rumsam House Rumsam Barnstaple I give the like sum of fifty pounds Also to Hezekiah Quick of Ten Oaks Roborough being my former labourer I give the like sum of fifty pounds I also direct that the whole of the above mentioned legacies (after the legal duty on the same has been discharged) shall be paid to the respective Legatees aforesaid within six months of the date of my decease and after the payment of all my just debts funeral and other lawful expenses I further also direct that the residue of all the real and personal estate of which I shall die possessed or be entitled to at the time of my decease shall be given to my nephew Francis squire of Rumsam House Rumsam Barnstaple whom I also further appoint to be the sole EXECUTOR of this my "Will" And I hereby revoke all previous "Wills" by me at any time heretofore made IN WITNESS whereof I hereunto set my hand this twelth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and four FRANCIS SQUIRE Signed by the said Francis Squire - Testator - in our presence who in his presence and in the presence of each other at the same time subscribe our names as witnesses - JOHN SAMUEL JENKINS - Rumsam Barnstaple -- MAUD AMELIA JENKINS Rumsam Barnstaple
On the 27th day of June 1907 Probate of this Will was granted to Francis Squire the sole Executor
