John LILLICRAP was baptised at Shaugh Prior 25 Apr 1749, died there 23 June 1835 and was buried 26 June 1835. He married firstly Elizabeth HEAD (1756-1795) and then Elizabeth ELLIOTT (1772-1851). His widow, Elizabeth Elliott LILLICRAP also left a will.

27 Oct 1835 Died 23 June 1835 Under £1500. John LILLICRAP, of Shaugh, Devon, Farmer, dispossessed of £200~ Consols 91-1/8 £182.5s.
And by his will dated 15 April 1834 with a codicil dated 25 April 1834 by his will attested by two witnesses appointed his wife Elizabeth LILLICRAP, now widow, the relict of the said deceased the sole Executrix to whom Probate was granted at Doctors Commons 24 October 1835 herein described Yeoman.
In the Will are the following words
I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth LILLICRAP all that messuage.
I give an bequeath unto George GILES and Thomas HAMLYN the sum of two hundred pounds Capital Stock which I now possess in the three free Cont Consolidated Annuities upon Trust nevertheless and to and for the several purposes hereinafter mentioned that is to say upon Trust.
I appoint my said wife to be sole Executrix of this my Will.
£200 Consols to be transferred to George GILES & Thomas HAMLYN the Trustees and left at their disposal.
