The Last Will and Testament of Charles Ball, Late of Sourton

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Charles Ball of the parish of Sourton, in the County of Devon, Yeoman, First I give and bequeath unto my wife Susannah Ball the Best Bed and the sum of Twenty pounds to be paid in the following manner. Five pounds to be paid three months after my decease and the remainder Fifteen pounds to be paid within one year after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son William Ball the sum of Thirty pounds to be paid within one year after my decease. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Agnes, the wife of John Worden, the sum of Five pounds to be paid within one year after my decease. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary, the wife of John Kerslake, the sum of Five pounds to be paid within one year after my decease. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Patience, the wife of John Weeks, the sum of Five pounds to be paid within one year after my decease. Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Susanna, the wife of Thomas KIng, the sum of Five pounds to be paid within one year after my decease. And as to for and concerning all and every the rest and residue of my Goods and Chattels, Property and money and security for money of whatsoever, nature I am possessed or may be possessed subject nevertheless to the payment of my just debt or debts and Funeral expenses. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son Richard Ball whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and for his own sole and exclusive use and benefit lastly I do hereby revoke all former Wills and Testaments by me made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness hereof I the said Charles Ball the Testator leaves this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal; this eighth day of February one thousand eight hundred and thirty four.
