In the name of God Amen I Thamzin Cranch of South Huish in the Countie of Devon Widdowe being Sick of body but perfect of minde and memorie thanks be unto Almighty God doe make this my last Will and Testament the fifteenth day of July in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fiftie and five in manner and forme and following In primis I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almightie God my Creator and to Jesus Christ my Redeemer and my Body to be buried in the Christian buriall Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Thamsin Wakome and her children for and only for the only use and behoofe and benefitt of them the full summe of Thirty pounds to be paid unto the said Thamsin Wakome my daughter att one halfe year after my decease and the said Thamsin Wakome my daughter shall and is to have the interest of the said summe of Thirty pounds as long as she liveth and not any of the principall except it be for necessitie but to remaine to her children Item I give unto Elizabeth Wakome my Grandchild the daughter of John Wakome one Cowe Item I give and bequeath unto Anthonie Wakome the Sonne of John Wakome my Grandchild one Ewe Sheepe Item I give unto Sarah Cranch the daughter of Richard Cranch my Grandchild one Ewe Sheepe Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Cranch daughter of William Cranch my Grandchild tenn shillings Item I give and bequeath unto Thamsin Cranch daughter of William Cranch my Grandchild twenty shillings Item I give and bequeath unto [Annie] Wakome the daughter of John Wakome my Grandchild one Sheepe Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Cranch the daughter of Richard Cranch one Ewe Sheepe Item I give and bequeath unto Richard Cranch the Sonne of Richard Cranch my Grandchild one Sheepe Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Cranch the daughter of Richard Cranch one Ewe Sheepe Item I give and bequeath unto Stephen Cranch my Sonne two Ewe Sheep All other goods and Chattells not given and bequeathed I give and bequeath I give and bequeath [KB note: repeated text] unto Richard Cranch Richard Cranch [KB note: repeated text] whome I make and ordaine to be my whole and sole Executor to see this my last Will and Testament to be performed and William Cranch to be Overseer for the foresaid Thamzine Cranch and her children and the rest. This Will was proved att London the first day of October In the yeare of our Lord God One thousand six hundred fiftie and six before the judge for probate of Wills and granting Administrations lawfully authorised by the oath of Richard Cranch the Sonne and sole and only Executor named in the above written Will To whom the Administration of all and singular the goods Chattells and debts of the said deceased was granted and committed he being first legally sworne truely and faithfully to administer.
